Why should I transfer my old tapes, film, and photos?
Transferring your old media to digital should be done to protect your memories and is an insurance policy from loss or fading/degrading over time. By doing so, you will save and be able to relive those memories for current and future generations. In addition, having them in a digital format allows much more convenience and ease of viewing on your TV or computer.
How long does it take to receive your finished project?
Depending on how many photos or videos you have, most projects take two to three weeks to complete. Some larger projects will take longer, depending on number of photos or videos. For rush projects, we will work with you to meet your deadline.
Can you make multiple copies?
Yes, we will save your photos and videos to a format that is preferable to you. We can make multiple copies that can be distributed to family and friends. Formats include DVD’s, flash drives, external hard drives, or digital download.
What do you recommend for backups?
After the project is completed, you want to keep everything safe for today and future generations. We recommend the 3-2-1 backup strategy and can help you get setup to keep everything safe:
*3 copies
*2 Different Media
*1 Offsite
Can I use photos that are not of the best quality?
You can use photos that have faded or that have cracks in them. We can retouch and enhance photos to look better than the original. Minor retouching is included, but photos requiring major restoration will include an additional cost.
Do you perform custom editing of videos and photo slide shows?
We do perform customized editing. Editing includes cutting, moving, or combining scenes; providing transitions; including captions/titles; and/or inserting music. Keep in mind, we can move scenes from multiple sources (tapes/reels/photos), all into one clip or selection.
I am overwhelmed, where do I start?
It is easy to get started. Just stop by our studio, email, or give us a call. We will discuss your project and develop a step by step plan to capture your memories. If you have a large collection, we suggest breaking it down into small steps.
Where are you located?
We are located in downtown Fargo at 417 Main Avenue, Suite 206. We are open Monday – Friday, 9am

which we will request a 50% deposit. We accept Credit card, checks, or cash for payment.
